So Excited...

I'm so excited to announce that I've been chosen to be a Digital Designer for Two Peas in a Bucket!

 

Yippy! I'm almost too excited for words, I hardly know what to do with myself. It is such an honor to be chosen to design along side the gifted and talented gals that are featured in the Two Peas Store. As silly and cliche as it may sound, its a bit of a dream come true, scrapbooking and designing are two things that I've always had a love for and its thrilling to be able to share my passion with the Two Peas community.

Only 15 Days until Christmas... where does the time go? I haven't even gotten all of my Christmas cards out yet!

Christmas Card

 
In years prior I've always used whatever cute little Christmas  cards I could find at Target but this year Jeff had the great idea of including one of our favorite pictures with our cards, so i figured why not combine the two and make my own card! I used the Be Merry kit by TayorMade.  

Fall...

I LOVE FALL... and I think it has a little to do with the fact that I LOVE to design fall and holiday layouts. I put this layout together based on a sketch from  Lotus Paperie, a great place for ideas and inspiration and they just started a new design team. The kit I used is by Jen Allyson, Fall Jamboree- Owl Papers and you can find it at the Two Peas in a Bucket store here. I think that everyone who scraps their Thanksgiving photos should have it! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! I'll be posting my holiday layouts soon! 

Spot

So a few months ago, we found a tiny, starving kitten in out back yard... and even though we knew better than to feed stray cats, we just couldn't leave him out there all alone. So we named him spot and made him our "out-door" cat. He's a pest but we love him : ) oh spot.. he can't get enough attention and can't help but get into trouble. Jeff and I were having breakfast on our patio one morning and before we knew it spot had discovered a paper bag with half a muffin in it. What cat eats muffins? I put this layout together for the Two Peas in a Bucket Weekly Digital Challenge, which was to extract an element from a photo an use it in your layout, in this case I extracted the paper bag that is behind the title. Extractions are difficult for me so this was a difficult challenge! You can find the Two Peas Digital Challenge here.

So excited for Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for and so much to do! I cant wait to get some Holiday Layouts going!

Family

I LOVE fall... the weather, warm sweaters, hoidays and the COLORS. So I always love to scrap fall loyouts. These are a couple of photos of my cousins daughter. All the kids painted pumpkins at her first birthday party (which was at a park at the end of October, you have to love California weather) Most of the little ones ended up wearing more paint than the pumpkins but I think that was the fun of it.

Halloween

Halloween in Santa Cruz! At the last minute Jeff and I discovered that one of our favorite bands were playing at the Catalist in the Cruz on Halloween night... we had to go, there was no miss it. There was also no possible was to take any good photos at the concert, so i put this layout together with a photo from before the show. I got the idea for this layout form the TwoPeasInaBucket weekly digital challenge, to be inspired by a DVD or movie cover. I choose Coraline... I thought it fit the theme of Halloween : )
